In vivo and in vitro experiments showed that N-docosahexaenoylethanolamine: improved indicators of anxiety and long-term memory; inhibited the pro-inflammatory microglial cells activity; decreased the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines/ROS/NO/nitrites; increased CD206 and superoxide dismutase production.
