Preconditioning with ethionamide promoted the proliferation of Wharton’s jelly-derived MSCs by activating phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/Akt and mitogen-activated protein kinase/extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase kinase (MEK)/extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 signaling.
