Researchers developed an extracellular vesicle isolation pipeline from small volumes of human milk and neonatal intestinal contents after milk feeding to address the hypothesis that human milk contains extracellular vesicles survive in vivo neonatal digestion to be taken up intestinal epithelial cells.
