Scientists reported an inulin gel formulated with an allergen that normalized the dysregulated ileal microbiota and metabolites in allergic mice, establishes allergen-specific oral tolerance and achieved robust oral immunotherapy efficacy with sustained unresponsiveness in food allergy models.
