Scientists demonstrated that the LIF/STAT3 and Wnt signaling pathways, in conjunction with canonical BAF (cBAF) and PRC2 complexes, inhibited epiblast stem cells (EpiSCs) gene expression, thereby preventing ESCs from converting to EpiSCs.
